This Vancouver
Washington real estate market report is a simple matrix of
the Vancouver West MLS area homes
in the real estate data base, separated into price ranges, and:
Active, Pending and Sold categories, for the Historical Month of
September, 2008.
This month has 42 fewer homes in the Active category, and the average
days on the market has decreased 1 days to 105 days. For
the listings that are agreeing to offers the average time on the
market is now 81 days -- 17 days fewer than the prior month.
With the month of September we have seen a slight slowing in activity for
homes priced below $300,000, while it is still slow for the higher
priced homes.
For August year-to-date the RMLS data is showing the Average home
Selling Price for these Vancouver areas ranging from: $170,700 to
$339,700; and the Median Selling Price ranging from: $165,800 to
$240,000. The Clark County - wide Average Home Selling Price
is: $285,300; while the Median Selling Price is: $247,000.
