Bob~

 I'd love to know more about the Children's ECO Magic Show! As a former schoolteacher and guidance counselor, you have piqued my interest with this one! Tell me. Tell me!

JaneAnne,

Sorry, but I won't know anything more about the Children's ECO Magic show until I see it.  I'll have to give you an update next week.

I was thinking the same thing, bet the magic show is a hit! And the Mono Lake Committee is worth googling. I learned to ski at Mammoth and June, so I know a little about Mono.

Bob,

Can I still be environmentally responsible if you pay for my first class flight? ;}

If you have any information on the Mono Lake committee I'd be interested.

Hi All,

I just returned from the Earth Day event.  I am sorry to say that I did not make it over to see the magic show or the Mono Lake group.  There were a couple of different areas that had throngs of children, but I did not go there.  I was totally focused on talking to people at the tables, and handing out business cards and newsletters.  I got into some fairly lengthy conversations, and just ran out of time to see everything there.  It was a bigger event than I thought it would be.  It was a good networking event for me.  I was able to reconnect with people in the Sierra Club, as well as make some new connections.  I handed out 24 business cards and about a dozen newsletters.  I met one woman who is looking to buy a house within a year; and she knows several other people who are looking, so she is going to pass out my card to her friends.

It was a good day over all.  I learned more about low flush toilets, where I can take my dead TV, how bad it is to wash your car by hand, and about how two different old oil fields in the area can become wildlife parks.

I gladly give up information on Mono and Magic if you get to sell a few houses!
