Bell Canyon, California Home Staging - (First Installment)
Stage It In A Day! - A premier Home Staging Company serving Ventura and Los Angeles Counties recently staged a vacant home in Bell Canyon California. This unique 3 bedroom/3 bathroom multi-level home sits on almost 2 acres, with the backyard abutting a hillside offering complete privacy and scenic views on several different levels.
Bell Canyon, CA is located in Ventura County; it straddles the Ventura and Los Angeles County lines and is minutes to Los Angeles.
The homeowner had preivously used a Real Estate Staging Company when selling a home in Northern California and knew how imperative it was to make a great first impression.
Stage It In A Day! was asked to coordinate all aspects of preparing the home for sale. The exterior and interior were professionally cleaned from top to bottom. Carpets were cleaned or replaced where needed. Tiles on both counters and floors were made to look almoust new. Both the exterior and interior were painted a more neutral palette. A landscaper was brought in to brighten up the front yard, while the backyard was transformed from overgrown and uninspired to beautiful and conducive to Southern California outside entertaining. Even the Japanese Tea House up on the hill was given an overhaul.
Here are a few before and after pictures. I'm still learning about including pictures on Active Rain, so I'll add others later (I already deleted this post once :(
This was the family room before:

We switched to be a dining room:

Very nice transformation and photos! Neutralizing some of the paint choices and showing buyers how they could use the spaces made a huge difference in this home's appeal. Looking forward to seeing more of your posts here!
Maureen,
Thank you! I'm always thrilled to see the transformations that are possible. It makes all of the hard work worthwhile.
Bravo Patti. You and Pam did a wonderful job with this home. It looks spectacular. And you did a good job posting those photos, too. Congratulations. I'm sure this one will sell quickly!
Patti- You guys did a great job on the property! Changing the reds out made it so much more buyer friendly. The pictures are beautiful and I love that open floor plan :)
I love the pictures. It looks so nice. Great job.
Michelle - Thank you - I hope it sells quickly!
Wendy - I know, that red was quite a bit! Some of the kitchen cabinets were hi-gloss red with black handles and the others were hii-gloss black with red handles...yikes!
Chrissie - Thank you!
Patti, great job defining the space. I like your paint selection. The fact that your sellers used a home stager to sell their last home and are now using a stager to sell their current home is a testament to the importance of staging.
Patti - what an awesome transformation. You should be extremely proud of how this turned out.
Congratulations. Your post is being featured in the group; Staging Before & After Pictures.
Kathy
It looks beautiful, Patti! You made a very awkwardfloor plan make so much more sense!
Michele - Thank you. Many of the white walls were in good shape, so since budget was a big factor (this is a divorce and they are losing a lot of money on this one) we just continued with that and then accented those in dire need of paint either by condition or color!
Kathy - OOOH! Thank you! I'm thrilled to get featured!
Connie - HI! The layout of this home was a little on the funky side! I think we were able to make the best out of it though! Thanks!
