Cedar Falls is a highly desirable neighborhood in Mt Washington.  With lots ranging from 1.5 to 6.5 acres, the luxury homes in this neighborhood are best described as estates.   Development in Cedar Falls began in 2005 and a few lots are available.  When complete, there will be less than 50 houses in the subdivision. 

With prices ranging from $375,000 to $500,000 it is difficult to describe any home as typical.  Houses in Cedar Falls have 3-5 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 - 4 baths and range in size from 2100-3100 sq ft.  Virtually every one has a basement that adds to the size of the home.  Interiors are filled with some of the best amenities you will find in Bullitt County.  Vaulted and double try ceilings, tile and hardwood flooring, fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, formal dining rooms, theatre rooms, etc.  Listing descriptions read like a check list of dreams.   

Cedar Falls is basically one street which winds through the countryside and forms a circle at the back of the subdivision.  Homes on the exterior of the circle tend to be a little larger and set back from the street a little more.  Additionally, their back yards open to undeveloped land so the lots appear even larger.  Regardless of where you live, the pristine view is preserved by the underground utilities.   

The neighborhood does not have sidewalks, but this really isn't a problem.  Traffic ranges from light to non-existent. 

The deed restrictions and HOA fees are very reasonable ($200 / year). 

Bullitt County Public Schools

Students who live in Cedar Falls and attend Bullitt County Public Schools will go to...

• Pleasant Grove Elementary
• Eastside Middle, and
• Bullitt East High School

Location

From Louisville, take Bardstown Road south to Mt. Washington.  Turn right onto old 31E and then right onto Flatlick Road.  Cedar Falls is 1.5 miles down the road on the left.  In total, Cedar Falls is about 5 minutes from Bardstown Road and less than 15 minutes to the Gene Snyder.
