Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the first ever REBlog World Expo. The "RE" part stands for Real Estate of course. The event was co-located with the Blog World Expo at the Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Todd Carpenter and Jason Berman put the event together and it was terrific. The only regret I have was not being able to be in two places at the same time! Each session had something of value to offer. I managed to garner more information in these one day than I have in months of just hanging around the internet! Listening to the people who actually blog and do it well is refreshing.

Following the REBlog World event was two additional days of even more information packed sessions. There were bloggers from every imaginable niche, God Blogggers, MILBloggers, MommyBloggers, ProBloggers, you name it! Rubbing elbows with the industry's best was a thrill.

Of course getting to meet online friends to share this experience with was rich in itself. If anyone is thinking of attending an event next year, please consider this one. I can assure you your time will not be wasted.

Now for the photos from REBlogWorld, enjoy a few familiar faces...

Awesome photo history. I do wish I could have joined and I'm itching to be there next year. Learning more about promotion through blogging should be at the top of all of our lists. Thanks Kristal!

Mariana ~ Thanks!  It does rock because of the Rock Star Bloggers in it!  :)

Ken ~ Hope you can go next year Ken.  It would be great to meet you in person too!

Ginger ~ Ah another one of my BEAUTIFUL Rock Stars, thanks!  It was a blast!

KK,

Great photos! Ditto on Ginger's comment about the best conference, when it comes to technology and on-line marketing, without question this was the best for me too. As for 2009, I wouldn't miss it.

By day two I was on overwhelm, and you're absolutely correct "rubbing elbows with the industry's best was a thrill" for me too. And, no doubt you're one of them!  GREAT seeing you there.

Kristal, you made me want to attend the next one - your photo show is incredible.
Great shots of those that attended.  I'm sure your blog will bring a lot of awareness
to the next event.  Congratulations!  Dagmar Sands - WorldClassRealEstateBroker.com

Hopefully I will get to attend a future event.

I was on the Big island at the Pac Rim Conference, where Bob Stewart, Doug Devitre, Saul Klein and Stephan Swanepoel were speakers.  It was a good event.

Kristal,

Thanks for the post. Great photography. Appears as though everyone had a great time and the more serious facial expressions indicated that there was some serious information being disseminated and discussed. Also appreciate the photograph with next years dates . Thanks.

The show is fabulous, no one can take photos like you. I'm glad you put that last one up to show when it is next year, because I will budget it into my travel, conference budget. I have heard nothing but positive things about it from everyone who went.

You take the most incredible photos! It's fun to see the "real" photos of people and recognize them from their AR avatar. Rich looked VERY serious in that one photo. ;-)

KK - it was great to see you again, and I loved your photo show. Wish I had been able to take in the whole event but family stuff comes first. It was terrific, what I was able to attend, and I plan to be there next year as well. I heard nothing but positive comments about the event; it is always a great learning experience to hear from folks live rather than reading on-line.

Kristal,

Thanks for the pictures.  I sure wish I could attend some of the events that are going on around the U.S. for blogger but alas...it's not to be.  Maybe when the market picks up.

Seems like you had a fantastic event.  Who would have ever thought we would have Blogging conferences (just a few years ago, we didn't even know what the word meant.)

Lynda ~ It was so nice to get to meet you!  I'm glad you are going next year, maybe we can sit and chat.

Dagmar ~ I hope you do plan to go next year.  I know you won't be disappointed!

Randy ~ Your conference sounded very good too!  I'm glad I got to meet you last year in Vegas...or was it San Francisco?  My mind is a blur... :)

William ~ there was so much information to digest, thus the serious faces.  If you are setting aside the dates for next year, be sure to include the day just prior, that's the day for REBlogWorld.  Hope to see you there!

Michael ~ This conference had some very serious topics.

Missy ~ Thanks for the compliment!  I so enjoy doing it! This conference was the best of all I've attended this year.  I hope to see you there next year too!  We'll have to find a limo and Chinese food!  :)

Marlene ~ Las Vegas is fairly easy on the budget. Find a roomie and split the costs.  I also discovered with the mono rail stopping right out front of the convention center, it expands the locals you can stay in.  Hotels can be cheap in Vegas.  :)  Hope to see you again one day!

Elaine ~ Some of us actually look like our photos!  :)  I have one of Rich that looks downright EVIL!  I'm saving it for future use.  hahahaha

Jeff ~ It was so nice to see you again!  I can't believe we've been able to meet twice this year!  Blogging events are such wonderful excuses to get together.

Bill ~ You really need to come next year.  I can assure you, you won't be disappointed. :)

Mana ~ It was so much fun to meet you in person.  Thank you for the compliment!  Beautiful people like you are very easy on my camera...

Pippa ~ You will have a ball at REBlog in Houston.  I bet Mike Price has something to do with it...

Deb ~ So sorry about scaring you half to death with the sound!  I've put a warning in the title so that won't happen to others... I know how scary that can be!  Glad you enjoyed the show.

Fran ~ Keep repeating after me, "The market will pick up, the market is getting better!"  This too shall pass.  Hope to meet you soon.

Debbie ~ Family must come first, but I do hope to see you next year.

Sally ~ Thanks for stopping by! I'm so glad you enjoyed the show.  I hope I'll get to meet you one day very soon!

Jason ~ Thanks for giving me the opportunity to shoot at REBlobWorld. I'm so glad you like the show! :)

Greg ~ Many others have posted the ideas before me.  I'll have to gather up what I learned and blog about it one day soon.

Diane ~ you are so right!  Blogging is a new trend, who knows where it will take us?

Boy do I feel dumb....I have seen a hundred ads for REblog World and I thought it was re-blog!  I even ask a couple of people how this could be THAT valuable.  Now I wish I would have gone!
