Save the Environment & Homeless Pets - Recycle Your Ink Cartridges for PetSmart Charities

By
Services for Real Estate Pros

You can help Save Homeless Pets and the Environment too by Recycling your used Ink Cartridges and cell phones with a new program from Petsmart Charities called Recycle for Life.

Just visit your nearest PetSmart store and look for the PetSmart Charities recycling display to pick up a free postage paid pre-addressed envelope.  Drop it in the mail and PetSmart Charities will receive a $2 -$15 donation for every cartridge or phone recycled through this program. Plus, you will help save the environment too!

You can also buy recycled ink cartridges on their website.

It's really easy with the plastic prepaid envelopes that are available at the Petsmart stores.

Check it out, you'll be glad you did.

What a great idea!  Anew Petsmart just opened nearby, and I plan on getting in there one of these days.  I will pick up those mailers.  Thanks!  The pups appreciate it!

Great idea.  We often go to petsmart because we have a dog and our son has a lizard.  Recycling ink cartridges and cell phones are a great thing for the environment.

You know how information sometimes gets to you a day late and a dollar short? Unfortunately, I just dropped off 6 cell phones to a local Radio Shack because I didn't know about the PetSmart option. I do, however, have 5 ink cartridges that need to go somewhere, so thank you for this valuable tip. I'll be sure to spread the word through my office. Keep 'em coming :-)

I've been wondering what to do with my ink cartridges. I have about 30 ever since Office Max stopped paying $3 per cartridge, I've have been just holding on to them.

Petsmart, here I come!

I got really excited about this program: 1. Because I'm going to Petsmart today to get dog food, and 2. I have a bunch of ink cartridges that need to be recycled.

However, when I went to their website, I realized, that none of my cartridges are on their list. I do have an old cell phone, so I will check out their list to see if that will work.

UPDATE: my old phone doesn't meet their criteria either. BUMMER!

Jack - that's unfortunate, maybe you will be able to use their services in the future though. Best of luck.
