Shoreline development has become a controversial issue at Lake Chelan. Chelan County and the City of Chelan are in the process of a "watershed" study to determine the development and regulations that are needed to keep Lake Chelan clean and desirable in the future.
On October 21, at the Chelan City Council Chambers, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, they are holding a Community Workshop for the Shoreline Master Plan.
