I'm not one to be superstitious, but occasionally something comes along that indicates that maybe I should be. Latest case in point is the Las Vegas trial of O.J. Simpson.

To wit:

Simpson was convicted the other day for an armed robbery that occurred on September 13.

The conviction came on the 13th anniversary of his acquittal in his Los Angeles murder trial.

The Las Vegas trial lasted 13 days.

The Las Vegas jury deliberated for 13 hours.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Maybe I should take the 13th off this month. Nah, I'm not Simpson!
