Realtors are notorious for finding ways to save money, but it seems that now everyone is jumping on that bandwagon. Everyone is looking for ways to save money without having to sacrifice too much. That is especially true for families who often find themselves having to shell out all the more often - school sports, school fund raisers, extra curricular activities, the latest and greatest video game...
Well, I am here to help! Like most moms and dads, I get occasionally tired of making dinner every night and look forward to going out to eat once in a while. No food prep, no cooking, no cleanup... Of course, that can get quite expensive. Thankfully, there are many restaurants where kids under a certain age - usually 12 - can eat for free. The trick is to find these restaurants. In the past, you could keep track of when you accidentally found a restaurant like this, or you could ask around. Very time consuming.
Now, families have another option! The South Bay daily newspaper, The Daily Breeze, has a web page where you can find a list of local restaurants in the South Bay and surrounding areas where kids eat free! You choose the day that you are going to be eating out and the list of restaurants pops up. You can visit this handy and money saving web page at http://www.dailybreeze.com/kidseatfree.
However, be forewarned - this list may be out of date, so call ahead to the restaurant to double-check that kids do in fact eat free on the night that you want to visit the restaurant. I learned the hard way!
