Night time photos vs. Day time photos for marketing.

What photos do you feel are better for marketing a traditional brick home, an ambient  lit night exterior or a vibrant sun lit day exterior.

I'm just curious why some agents use them and some don't.

Hi Laurie,

Nice to see you on Active Rain!  I think it depends on the home.  The night time pictures look nice but don't always give the best impression of the home, and vice versa.  Personally, I have always thought that if there is a night time photo, there should always be a day time photo also.

I have used night time pictures before, but they have been pictures where the homeowners would really be outside at night to enjoy.  For example, lakefront home or one that is perfect for entertaining.
