A great point! I am on the Dave Ramsey express- getting out of debt and becoming self reliant, as far as money goes. It's kind of a difficult situation to be in.. I believe it is important for everyone to live within their means, but America is a capitalist country so in order to be successful, we need people to be spending. I know my myself and my family, we are going to get out of debt and live within our means and be thankful for the things we do have instead of following the endless pursuit of more, and more, and MORE!!
Thanks for sharing, Nicole Weidauer

Awesome post! When I look around at all the stuff in my house and garage that I worked so hard to get I often find myself wondering "what was I thinking"...... none of these material things really matter. I'm referring to everything I have.... paid for and not so paid for.
What I have realized is that there are so many things in life more important such as faith in God, and a healthy, happy family just to name a few. It's so easy to forget the really important things and get caught up in the whirlwind of getting all you can. In the end, what could be more important than the experiences and lessons learned from your life, the relationships you made and the people who's lives you may have changed (positively) along the way?
Wow Mike, Cindy & Nicole, you said some real profound things. Thanks for sharing but more importantly thank you for the REAL words that you have stated here. I hope you keep that spirit and spread those words to all you know because we really need it right now and people could use some saints like you guys to keep their spirits up in these crazy times...
