Lotus Pointe

Lotus Pointe is a secluded subdivision offering beautiful homes on large lots.  Most of these 3-5 acre lots are wooded and provide a park-like setting.  In fact, very little separates this neighborhood from Bernheim Forest.  Seeing deer, turkeys, etc from your deck is common.  If you like country settings, make sure you check out this these Shepherdsville homes.

Luxury homes in Lotus Pointe have 4-5 Bedrooms and 2 1/2-3.  Since the lots are so large, these homes typically have fewer custom amenities than similar priced homes in St Andrews Crossing or Heritage Hills.  However, fireplaces, whirlpool tubs and hardwood floors are common.   These 1800-3200 SqFt homes also have large bedrooms, formal dining rooms, open floor plans and basements.

Based on the number of homes, this is a relatively small community.  Only about 20 lots exist.  Lotus Pointe does not have sidewalks, but considering that it is surrounded by acres and acres of woodlands, there are many better places to walk and play.  Underground utilites preserve the scenic views.

Prices on active listings currently range from $335,000-$389,000.

Erik Lotus Point in Bullit County looks like a terrific subdivision. I like the variety in the housing styles.

I agree with Bill.  I have never been to KY, but these houses sure make you want to move.  Who takes your pictures?

Bill - This ranks as one of my favorite subdivisions.  I love the lots!  (The prices are pretty good too).

John - I guess I have to admit to the picture taking.  I think I need a new camera.  (At least I'd rather believe it is the camera than photographer).

Kristin - The next 4-6 weeks here are incredible.  I'm hoping to spend a substantial amount of time outdoors this weekend and will try to share the pics.

Erik -

All I can say is Absolutely Beautiful.   This looks like a great place to live.  One of the things that I like the most is the fact that all of the trees have not been cleared.  Here in NJ, the developers tend to "slash & burn" before they start building.

Have a great day

Erik - I actually thought the pictures were good.  The pictures are what made me make the comment 'makes me want to move to Kentucky'.  A beautiful home is a beautiful home in any camera.

Erik, What an absolutely beautiful place that you live with equally beautiful homes!  Those of us that live down here in Florida, head to areas like yours on our vacations.  Thanks for sharing.  The changing leaves are gorgeous!

John - Thanks.  The homes really are great.  Maybe, I'm just looking for an excuse :)

Sandy - And those of us who live here head to your area for vacation.  Maybe we should just swap houses for 1 week a year.  Much cheaper!

Inna - This subdivision essentially backs up to 40,000 acres of protected woodlands.  I hope to get some good pics this weekend.
