Wonderful news came out of my searching this morning for the homes sold in Macomb County MI during the month of September, 2008.
More homes sold this past month in comparison to the previous time period (September 2007)
The total of homes sold in Macomb County were up a whopping 49%. Sales prices are still falling from this period a year ago, but I have a feeling that part of this is due to the amount of homeowners who chose to lease or rent their homes.
The average days on the market also showed a decrease, but this is good news. For the Macomb County MI homeowner the time it is taking to market and sell their home is lower this year than it was last year.

Good news Kris. I notice the price point has come down which is what is happening here too. We are selling a small percentage of more homes selling but the price point has come down. So we continue to adjust.
