Tom Brokaw anal timekeeper moderates the most dreary debate of all time.

  Where is all the indignation! When Gwen Ifill was lambasted for not being impartial she went out and proved herself to be a very good moderator who remained impartial whatever her personal opinions may be. Tom Brokaw (personal friend of John McCain) went out and proved that all he cared about was going to another gig. When he wasn't looking at his watch he was favoring his good buddy by constantly letting him ramble on past his allotted time. Then he let McCain get the first and often times only rebuttal period.

The good news is that John McCain offered nothing new except more socialism and an additional $300 billion cost to the taxpayer's when he brought up buying some homeowners mortgages. Just how exactly he plans to pay for this he neglected to mention. I thought Republicans were against socialism?

Barack Obama seemed to have just phoned in this debate. As best I could tell he must have figured that by just showing up he would win.

As "We The People" sit down to breakfast this morning watching our stock market tumble again and our retirement accounts dwindle we should be thankful that there is only one more debate left.

I for one don't want to have to suffer watching these two "fiddle while Rome burns" any longer.
