Kate - Congratulations.  What a great opportunity!  The B&A's are fantastic!!! and you look great.  Can't wait to see it on the tube.

I  love how you brought the deep red from the dining room into the living room. It really brings continuity to the space.

Well... my humble and professional opinion I think the pink and purlple pop-up play house SHOULD stay in the living room. It ties the room together. ;)

Otherwise GREAT job.  I really like the staircase and the mirror.

Can I have your autograph?

Hello all,

Thanks for your comments. It has been a crazy week here so I just around to reading them. The show will not be on until the Fall.

Too funny about the Chanel thing- THAT IS WHY I PICKED IT :) It is Nanette Lapore and when I saw it I thought it looked like vintage Chanel- always staging on a budget.

As for the purple play house, it is now in the master bedroom- JUST KIDDING.

Thanks for all the kind words. I will keep you posted and thank you all in my Emmy speech ; 0

The house is now on the market and my client emailed my yesterday with her reaction to the staging:

You have completely transformed my home! I have trouble finding the words to express my gratitude. The entire time I have been living in this house I have struggled with how to make the space feel good and how to make the furnishings work. I suppose what I was lacking is the talent and vision that you posses. The biggest surprise was that you were able to use so many of the items I had. Moving the Couch and chair and adding the slip cover along with the accessories you brought in really did create a polished presentation. Now I know the fundamental principles of making a space appealing. I will enjoy living here until the sale is complete. The unexpected bonus is my home looks so fabulous I am trying to schedule as much entertaining as possible before I move! The feedback we received during showings was so positive and I have no doubt that we wouldn't have found our buyer so quickly had it not been for your hard work. You did a terrific job!

Her kind words are such a reminder of how we are not only helping people to sell and market their homes but change lives too. I will keep you all posted on the sale. KH
