Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008. 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM a full day event featuring music, crafts and a spectacular Chili cook-off, with awards for Best Chili, People's Choice and Showmanship! It'll be a hot time at Smith Mountain Lake with chili tasting, fun, entertainment and awarding of prizes all at Bridgewater Plaza just off Route 122, Moneta. Children under 12 are free; Free parking too! Fall is truly the most beautiful time of year here at Smith Mountain Lake Virginia. Our leaves are just starting to color right now and by Nov. 1, I think they will be at thier peek.
