At the end of the evening the different age groups, divided by boys & girls, race eachother!

At the end of the evening the children put the name of their teacher on their wrist-band and put in the basket ... the winning class gets a PIZZA PARTY!!!!   Go Powell Panthers!

Wow, Pippa!  I used to love to skate!  But ... that was back in the mid 60s.  LOL  In the early 70s I tried it again in a group that called itself the Brittle Bones Skate Club.  Tell ya anything?  LOL

That looks like so much fun!  I haven't tried it in ages and it might be safest if no one else is skating.  I was always scared of getting run over by one of those speed skaters!
