The Green Bay community is blessed to have such a wonderful organization Green Bay NeighborWorks that is focused on improving the original neighborhoods of the wonderful place we call home Green Bay Wisconsin. Green Bay Neighborworks is parterning with Money Smart Wisconsin, in an effort to increase awareness about home ownership. Four years ago Green Bay Neighborworks made a huge impact in my life. They assisted me with Down Payment Assistance for buying in the original area of Green Bay. I'm a big believer in the great things Neighbor works does for our community.  

You can visit The Affordable Home Tour October 18, 2008 from 11:30AM-5:00PM. There will be an opportunity to visit houses priced at $150,000 or less offered by local Realtors. Open house locations will be published in a special housing supplement of the Green Bay Press Gazette on October 18.

To register for one of these great classes, you can call the NeighborWorks Green Bay Homeownership Center at 920-448-3075. Participants must attend Home Buyer Education Sessions I and II to receive a Home Buyer Education Certificate and a credit report. The report will be run with you authorization.

Work with a Realtor who has personally utilized the great programs that Green Bay Neighborworks provide. You can benefit from my experience with WHEDA and the Neighborworks programs.
