RandMortgage.com version 2.0 is region's one-stop real estate shop
|
Rand Mortgage has re-launched RandMortgage.com, becoming the first mortgage brokerage in the region to offer a property search engine that is customized to the user's mortgage profile.

This site was designed for today's tighter mortgage environment. The property search combines over 100,000 properties from Westchester and the Hudson Valley, and makes it searchable by monthly payment. Users are walked through a three-step process: Get Qualified, Search Properties, and Buy a Home (with a 30 day closing guaranty).
"Every real estate site I know has one thing in common, they search by price range," said Greg Rand, Managing Partner of Rand Mortgage and Prudential Rand Realty, "But mortgage borrowers qualify based on monthly payment, so a buyer could be looking at two houses at the same price, and only qualify for one if the taxes are very different. You have to try the site to really understand the breakthrough. It brings you through the whole process in one seamless experience."
RandMortgage.com's additional resources include:
- A monthly payment calculator
- Payment schedule calculator
- Housing Statistics

Anthony, it is nice to see that some folks are taking risks in this market. It looks like Rand is playing the odds for the pendulum to begin its swing back.
