How often do you want to be called? Are you getting the attention you want and deserve regardless of the price range of your property?
Is your real estate agent AVAILABLE to show you properties in a timely manner? Have you ever lost out on a property because your agent didn't get around to telling you about, or setting up an appointment in time? Finding an agent who is available, or has a team in place that can assist you quickly is paramount when that hot property pops on the market. Can other agents get ahold of your agent in order to show your property? Many showings don't happen because of this.

Does your real estate agent have the EXPERIENCE to get the job done right? EXPERIENCE is critical to your successful real estate transaction. Has your agent lived in the area long enough to know what's going on with changes, schools, and trends? To know which builders/lenders/appraisers/inspectors to avoid? To know about the value of a property? To know how to put in place a marketing strategy to maximize your sales price in your time frame? To know how to negotiate firmly in YOUR best interest? It's your money at risk, make the right choice.

The key ingredients to a good real estate agent! Does your real estate agent C.A.R.E.? If not, I would suggest that you have a conversation with him/her and let them know your concerns. Sometimes it's just a matter of communication about expectations. Sometimes it's just time to find another real estate agent that CARES!
