Real Estate Shows, the program I use to really show off my listings, has had some really good updates recently and I wanted to show them off a little.

Last night I walked a beautiful property with some of my favorite clients. (I feel it's OK to say that, they are a warm loving family and have brought me some good business, besides.)

This property was so beautiful that my camera just would not stay out of my hands. The farm is being subdivided into large building lots, ranging in size from 1+ to 4+ acres. It's located about four miles out Cow Creek in Hurricane, WV. On a windy country road like this, that puts you about 10 minutes from the main road in Teays Valley. (And from my office, right there at the corner!)

If you'd like to see the new features of our shows, please view the show below. Pay special attention to the Panoramas, which are simply beautiful because of our location.

Also notice the Video feature, and please forgive my chatter while filming. This is just to show you what could be done -- in this case what could be done BETTER. A video tour of your home or property would go in this space.

Sarah, the best part of this Show is hearing your voice! We're feverishly working on getting my favorite video sites available for embedding. Veoh & Brightcove, and several others. Veoh & Brightcove use a completely different compression algorithm, so the quality of the uploaded video is dramatically improved over YouTube. The only advantage to YouTube is their numbers.

Michael - Sounds like you're in a beautiful area! :o)

Aziz - "Almost heaven, West Virginia, Blue Ridge Mountains, Shanandoah River, Life is old there, older than the trees, younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze ... " I think ALL West Virginians know that song! And strangely enough, I've heard from several West Virginians that if you go to nearly any pub in Ireland and they ask you where you're from, they can sing you this song, too.

Maggie - Glad they pointed that out to me! (Thanks again, Danny and Bob!) I get antsy when I'm away from our hills for long. Flat land just doesn't "hug" you like West Virginia.

Jeff - Wish I'd just kept my mouth shut while I got that clip, but too late now! Thanks anyway. I'd love to see better video quality for the shows. I'm happy right now that I can even add it in, but it would be great to have the quality look like it does on my home computer.

Sarah, I came back to view the video. Absolutely beautiful country! The tree-line is so obvious and looks very heavily forested behind it! Your very lucky to live there.

Thesa - Can't take credit for that scenery! All I had to do was point a camera. (And I should have learned to keep my mouth shut!) ;o)

Lysa - I love our hills -- in spite of the fact that I get car sick sometimes!! :oP

Danny - Glad you came back and thanks again for pointing out my boo-boo! You should pull up Hurricane, WV on a google map where you can see all the green. Pan around a little, bet you'd be amazed! We have plenty of room to grow.

Hi Sweet Sarah - very nicely done! I like RES shows, and have to use them more than I have been. I liked the panoramas, and the video, too. Your voice sounds so different than I've had you sounding in my head all this time! ;-)

Love the tours you do, and your area is beautiful - just like Aziz mentioned, "Take Me Home Country Roads"..... perfect song for what I just saw.
