Age old question about buyers is: Are buyers liars when it comes to purchasing homes? Or is it because the agent is not taking the time to listen to what they want before throwing them in a car and showing them homes? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Does anyone have a policy that all buyers must meet in the office for a consultation before they will show them any homes? Postivites or negatives to this approach?

Once buyers see what is available in their price range, they often 1) readjust their wants and needs, 2) reset their upper limits and/or 3) look for another neighborhood that will get them what they want within their original budget.
