On Tuesday I was in Rutland Vermont where I taught the Vermont Association of REALTORS full day Professional Standards workshop. The class offered seven hours of continuing education credit which 120 REALTORS took advantage of. Most of these REALTORS serve on the Professional Standards and Grievance committees and Board of Directors for various local boards. It was a great class!

Vermont is a beautiful state and I was lucky enough that my hubby Jay was able to go with me so that we could enjoy a leisurely ride home the next day. The foliage was awesome and the whole state is just so pretty.

If you've never been to Vermont perhaps you should consider planning a trip in the near future.

Never been. Always wanted to go....now you made me want to go even more! Next time I'm visiting the in-laws in New York, I headed North....maybe not that far, but at least I'll hit Boston!

Monika the leaves are really looking beautiful around here so I can imagine what they must look like further north.

Hi Monika - Vermont, many places all over that beautiful state, is one of our favorite places to head off to when we had a 2-3 day break.  Stowe was our most favorite place to go to just kick back and relax, what beautiful country up in that area.  And I saw the Trapp Family Lodge in one of your pictures - what beauty there is up there, and what amazing views.  You can easily see why they made that area their home, it does resemble what I picture the Alps looking like.  The little town of Stowe is such a sweet town, and absolutely gorgeous in the summer with all the window boxes full of flowers.  They have a 12 mile (I think that's how long it is) bike trail along the river and into the downtown area - take a ride or walk along that sometime when you're next up there.  Very pretty scenery.  There's a great hot air balloon festival every July - that's great to go to as well.

Thanks for the memory trip for me.
Ann

Moni - Your pictures are beautiful - Is that the Connecticut River? The Green Mountains of Vermont are anything but green this time of year. The colors are splendid.

Vermont is gorgeous. I'm heading back on the 23rd to teach Ethics. I love going to Vermont.

Ann ...Stowe is so pretty. I didn't know that you and Bear went there or that it was special to you both. I can understand why...it is a special place.

Judy...We should plan a visit. You and Mr T would love it.

George...When are you going to come up and visit us???

Thom and Ray...let me know when you decide to head up for a visit.
