Here in Minnesota we have seasons.  They occur every year no matter what.  Enjoying the seasons is free.  Recession proof and depression proof.  Most of the best things in life can't be bought, but you already new that. This year is no different. Well I guess it is different in some ways but I really don't want to write about it just now.  I guess I could but I just used up my 50 words and so any more words would not make a difference.

Sugar maple.

The old Oak trees in Oakland cemetery, a great place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

The walking paths along the Mississippi River - Upperlanding park -

My neighbors fence, I almost never hit it when I back out of my drive.

There is one tree just outside the driveway to our office, and I swear that on Tuesday when I got to work it was green and when I left it was yellow and shedding leaves.

Teresa - too bad they don't award points for beautiful photos, then you wouldn't have to worry about that pesky 50-word minimum. We have trees that change color too, just not as many and they are not as vibrant.

Beautiful photos Teresa! So glad I decided to click over and see what you were up to....I think I see a dent or two in that fence. :)

Dramatic colors our trees should be hitting peak color in a couple of weeks.

I love the red colors you get!  Guess you have embarrassed trees?  We get mostly yellows, very few embarrassed trees.  Are Colorado trees better behaved?

Not all of the trees have reds in them. The sugar maples and oaks mostly. You just have the wrong kinds of trees.

Teresa - I just happened to stop by your blog after I had mentioned an AG post of yours somewhere else and these photos are brilliant!  When you decide to ditch real estate, you can always stick with photography (not that you're likely to ditch real estate).  Everytime I've been to Minnesota its been freezing cold winter, so I've never seen some of the beauty of it.  I'm glad I have now.  Thanks for sharing them.

I am just amazed at the pictures you take! What kind of camera do you use?  I would like to get a lesson in photography... I must take the worst pictures ever!
