Awake with a smile and a positive attitude and be glad to greet the day!

Be grateful there is work to be done. Boredom kills.

Quit grumbling and count your blessings. We all have them.

Thank our Nation for giving us the right and the choice to vote.

Thank our customers for being loyal.

Offer to help a friend, colleague, or client with no expectations.

Remind your clients that you will be there for them when they need you.

Allow yourself only two kinds of days....good and great. It's your choice.

Your answer to, "how is business" should be "GREAT." (would you want to do business with a whiney, gripey, naysayer? Not me...

Lovely post! There is money to be made in every market and staying upbeat and positive will help you make the most of every opportunity that comes your way. Don't let any negative energy into your life and your business! And your good attitude will affect everyone around you, and that's a good thing!

Excellent!!!! A positive attitude brings positive results and all of us have many things to be thankful for so think on the blessings.

Deb! I LOVE the Happy sign :) I have always believed for the most part that YOU chose your day...and while you can't change some circumstances, you can change your reaction to them. Work? Some people are just happy to get out of bed in the morning!

A positive attitude is - well - sexy or, at least, attractive. Nobody wants to work with a "negative" person. Think about it. Who would you like to work with - (a) a person who is energetic and offers solutions or (b) a person who is lethargic, is a whiner and complainer, and offers no hope.

Deb - Thank you from the bottom of my heart for messing up my day. Here I am content to wallow in unhappiness and you have to go suggest that I do something about it. Haven't you heard the expression Misery Loves Company? You could have been a friend and sat with me. Instead you force me to consider my blessings and then kick me in the rear to get back to work. I rather enjoy grumbling around, at least when I am doing things by myself. Plus, I just drank some water, so now my glass is half empty.

John, if you just drank a half a glass of water then you are better off than many people in this world. And, the fact that you still have half left is such a wonderful thing...it sure beats being without! I'll bet you enjoy your grumbling around but do the other people that are around you enjoy it? Just curious. When you're by yourself you should be with the one that you cherish and care for the most.
