Donna Harris, active rain member and blogger extraordinaire, posted about this tragedy back in July (read here) and there was an update in the case today. The suspect in custoday may have been focusing on Realtors as his target of choice. Dallas CBS affiliate and reporter Robert Riggs posted this article concerning the suspect and his history.

As a result of this tragedy a good friend of mine, Eric Burcham, was able to make a couple of really large sales to home builders. Eric is a Vice President with Virtual Security and they specialize in high-end video security systems. Among other things, they have software that can take multiple cameras with hours and hours of footage and using facial recognition find a person on that tape in literally minutes. If you are interested in home or commercial applications or just want to talk to a really nice tech-nerd, Eric can be reached at ericb@vs-us.com and the website is http://www.vs-us.com/

Yes, I saw the update yesterday as well... now, I'll be calling that seller in the community and seeing if she's ready to finally list her property.
