Calling All Leaf Peepers To "The" Weekend in the
Greater Hudson Valley of New York.
Color on the trees has gradually been increasing this week and if you wait until next weekend you may miss the best colors.
I took these pictures at the intersection of Route 302 and County Route 48, the area known as Thompson Ridge, on October 9, 2008. As you can see the color already is really vivid on some trees and the others are sure to follow soon.
We have plenty of activities in the area to keep your weekend filled with fun. The Pine Bush Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Pumpkin Festival this weekend. There are many pick your own pumpkin fields in the area if you would rather head out to gather a pumpkin or two yourself. Hiking trails are abundant and the beauty is everywhere.
Come on up and enjoy!
There are literally thousands of things to do on this weekend in the Greater Hudson Valley of New York. Get up and head out for some fun. This is a great place to live or have a second home. If you would like a link to a Greater Hudson Valley almanac that is packed with information to help you decide if this is the place for you, give me a call or send me an email.
If you would like to start a search for a permanent residence or vacation home in the area I would love to help you. Working with an experienced buyer's agent can help you to choose what is best for you. I work in Orange, Ulster, or Sullivan County NY and I would love to be your Buyer's Agent. If you are looking elsewhere I would love to find someone in your chosen location to help you. Give me a call or send an email today.

What I like most about fall color is that it s fleeting and momentary!
