NAR Convention, What's The Scoop? Is There An Activerain Get Together?

Just wondering if there is a definite time, place and event lined up for an Activerain get together. I've been checking regularly and want to make my arrangements. I know I am not alone as I've had a few conversations with Rainers wondering the same thing.

Rather than email..maybe someone has the answer.

November is a busy time for many and we need to make the proper arrangements. Any insight would be appreciated..and hey if you are going to NAR..let me know..

WE are not going to NAR and I planted the seed of an AR CONVENTION some month ago...heard thru the Florida grapevine that something is in the works...ask Nestor and Katerina...

I plan to be there for the entire week. Carnac and Teresa Boardman will be there too. we should plan to get together at some point in time. NAR usually has a blogging room, maybe we should set a time to meet there?

Sorry Midori, I won't be attending this year...hopefully in the future!

I am supposed to attend a wedding in the middle of all this so I want to time it right! Yes I would love to finally meet some of the great minds behind blogging! :) Be careful ladies...I might ask for your autographs...Carnac...Teresa and Kristal. :)

Midori,

I so wish I was going to be there but I will not make it this year.

Midori- We are working on getting a location for the event. I sent Bob a place that I think will be right up their alley for the specifics that were given to me to find a place. We also need to get the time down as there are NAR activities going on at night, I already sent all of that to Bob. Hope I hear from him soon. :) I will post about it as soon as I get the facts straight.

I am new to all this but would like to be included. I will keep watching.

Well I'm only in from the 6th until the 9th so if it isn't somewhere between that time then I guess I won't be part of the third get together...I've been to two others and the very first but they don't seem to have it worked out yet I guess. I had to get a room so I wouldn't be sleeping in my car.

I'm kinda stressed out over this..don't laugh...someone very important to me is getting married and its on Saturday..I've been so excited over the NAR convention for months now..Neal you can always come stay with me...I'm going to Al's house! :)

Midori, I really wish I was going. However, I'm a bit conventioned out this year. I've been to two Inman Conferences, the Virginia Association of REALTORS conference, this week we have our own RE/MAX Allegiance conference, and next week the Northern Virginia Association conference. 5 in one year is enough for me. Maybe next year.

I will be there and was thinking the same thing myself. I would love to meet some fellow AR's in person

I think an ActiveRain get together would be great! I'm going to the convention with two other rainers and I think we would be interested in attending whatever gets put together. Also, I am looking for an early bird registration for sale, (if they are transferable) and I'm also looking for Lionel Richie tickets for Friday night. Anyone know of any for sale? He is my favorite singer of all time!
