Okay, so I know it's supposed to be "Roses," but we weren't out strolling in the garden. We were out on our boat this past weekend, pullin' up our crab pots on the Hood Canal.

The point being, just a friendly reminder that there is more to life than real estate, or whatever career path you've chosen. So many times we work ourselves so hard, trying to make life better for those we love, that we neglect to enjoy it with them!

So, slow down and smell the "crab" or "roses" or whatever smells good to you!

We have close to 20 in our refrigerator as we speak. We're gonna have a "crackin" party tonight and freeze the meat to make yummy crabcakes during the Winter months.

Thanks for your comments, Bob. Enjoy the day in real estate!

Couldn't agree with you more. (Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans- John Lennon) If you can't enjoy it, why work so hard?

Wow, ship some of them babies over the pond to Everett. Glad you know how to enjoy life. Nothing is prettier than our water and mountains.

Great comments, thanks!

We "did" have a ball, Karl. It was a perfect day!

And you're right, Karen. We are SOOO spoiled living here. I keep pinching myself every time I see the Olympics or the Sound, thinking "I LIVE here!

I here ya there Rich. I see that you have a boat, and YOU'RE STILL HAPPY. What's up there? HOW do you do it?

Ah yes, ..."Boats"....The Consumate Cash Black Hole!

It was one of those rare days when everything actually worked.

(Well, except for the depth gauge. That's gonna cost a couple hundred. And then I broke one of the teak grab handles. That'll cost $30. Oh yeah, my wife left the bow line attached and the prop sliced off the end. Another $25 bucks)

It's not the destination that matters the most - it's the trip getting there. Don't give up on life now, just so that you can work hard enough to get it later - later may be too late.

Your comment on the boat costs of the day are a good counterpoint to the "enjoying it all" photo.
