My Friday Freebies series is  interrupted for this important marketing broadcast....

Thanks to twitter for setting my mind free this afternoon.

I attended BlogWorld Expo 2008 last month.  The session that rocked it for me was "Simplified Business plans for Blogs and New Media Business."

The speaker that blew me away in this session was David Bullock.  David entered the blogosphere fairly recently and he's what you could call a conversion specialist.  He teaches companies and business professionals how to get triple digit response rate conversions.

Do you hear me now? And he is not an insider to the real estate industry.

Show and tell time, look what David did- Barack2.0- Barack Obama's Social Media Lessons for Business.

Brilliant!!! David piggybacked on the forefront of a booming market- the election.  He "got into the stream where there's already momentum".  Every week David and his partner update readers as to how the Obama camp is using web 2.0 to push themselves into the forefront of the race for president.

Barack 2.0 has phenomenal new visitor and conversion rates.  It landed David and his partner a feature article with Black Entrepreuner magazine and it gathered him the attention and pockets of businesses who want to know how to use web 2.0 to be the front runner in their industries.

You don't have to be the originator to be the winner.  Your best chance at success could be to piggyback with what's going on in the market right now.  If you take advantage of the momentum already built and flush out a plan you could be the winning quarterback and you didn't even have to make the first touchdown.

Now fastfoward to twitter and my mind jolt.  I saw a twit today about Trulia and popped on over to check it out.  This is what I saw.

Piggybacking on the forefront of a booming market- ta da.  Brilliant!!!

Crush the box. Somebody's gonna do it and it should be you.

Liz- You've gotta love the creative mind at work.  Every real estate professional can do these these things.  Otherwise someone else will do it.

Tom-  It's like Clinton when he used like MTV "rock the vote" and pop culture.  I think it will equal votes.  Many of Gen Y are behind Obama, he's camp has done a fantastic job at using technology and social networking to propel his campaign.  He's got a crew of bloggers helping make that happen, my sister's friend- a 20 something is a full time Obama blogger now.
