During my wellness checkups, my doctor tends to say "eat five fruits and veggies a day" for good health!  Little does he know, I take his "5 A Day" advice and incorporate it into my marketing plan!

When I first started in real estate,  I went to a meeting for new agents.  We were all in awe of the speaker - a very well-established, dynamic, successful Tucson Realtor, when someone finally snapped back to reality and asked: "How do we get business?"

To this he said, "I found, it takes 100 contacts to make 1 deal....."

Back to my Doctor's advice -- "5 A Day" is what I thought at that moment.  I figured if I wanted to improve the health of my business - I need to make 5 contacts a day and in less than a month - I should have one successful transaction.

It worked. 

It's hard work -  It's consistency -  It's dedication - but It Works.

Here are some ways to start a conversation to make your "5 A Day":

   Go out of your way to meet new people and introduce yourself - FIRST!

   Be the FIRST one to say HELLO to everyone you meet - make eye contact and SMILE!

   Make an extra effort to remember names of those you meet.  If you forget - ASK AGAIN!

   Show a genuine interest in others that you meet. Find a common ground and be brief about yourself.

   Give people a business card, shake hands, and say, "Let's talk again soon!"

GO FOR YOUR FIVE - for the health of your business!
