Several boats have struck submerged debris where the Kings Highway Bridge, in Suffolk, once stood.  The Army Corps of Engineers have done surveys but need to put divers in the water.  That should happen fairly soon and the areas will be marked with buoys.  The bridge was dismantled last year at a cost of $2.4 million.  If the debris there is from the demolition, VDOT will foot the bill.
