The weather in Robertson County has really been pleasant lately! My wife and I have been sleeping with our windows open in order to take advantage of the coolness and also to help conserve electricity.  Well last night was wonderful until about 3 AM when I was wakened by a skunk just outside our bedroom!  Yuck! Most animals really get to wandering this time of year including PePe- la -pew.

We don't get a whole lot of color in our area during fall but there are a few  native plants and trees that we enjoy . One of those is Sumac. Now there are several varieties of Sumac, but the one that is prettiest is now in full fall  color fashion as I  type this post.

Impressive colors there Trey.  That's the one thing I miss about home (PA), the beautiful show of color in the fall.

Can't sumac give you the same problems as poison oak and poison ivy?
