We have a columnist in our weekly magazine here, the San Diego Reader, who answers strange and unusual questions. So I had to laugh out loud when one of his answers started out with a little quiz.

The quiz, which I'll summarize here, involved understanding what the most common source of bad information is. The choices were:

1. stuff made up as necessary
2. old wives' tails
3. urban myths
4. mom, dad, uncle, aunt, brother, or sister
5. educated, big mouth friends

While all of them are pretty darn good sources of pretty bad information, I think most of us will agree that our "educated, big mouth friends" almost always know more than we do, especially when they are discussing our jobs instead of their own. LOL
