Surprise: Gas Prices

By
Real Estate Agent with Prudential C Dan Joyner and Young Realtors

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price of gas today in Upstate, South Carolina. The price of gas was $2.999 per gallon on one corner and $2.959 per gallon on the other corner. Was I seeing things? Was that first number actually a "2" not a "3"?  I wasn't the only one questioning the signs, it seemed liked everyone was slowing down to look at the signs. It was almost a traffic hazard.  There were 20 to 30 cars deep waiting in line for the "cheaper" gas. It was encouraging sign. I hope the lower prices will continue. it will help lift everybody spirits.

Wow, I was thrilled yesterday to only pay $3.23 here in Utah. Under $3 sounds awesome. A little silver lining in all the other news we have been hearing lately.

As I saw on FOX the other day, yes gas prices are coming down and will continue to fall. I am thinking positive about everything going up!

I was thrilled to pay 3.59 today.  That is easily at least $1 less than we paid a couple of months ago.

The cynic in me is willing to bet that this thrill will be over sometime after the election.  :-/

Thats a great feeling of hope isn't it when the gas prices start coming down. Here in Simpsonville our gas is $2.67 a gallon right now. I hope it continues to go down to just $2.00 a gallon. I remember having a gas war here a few years ago when gas was less then $1.00 a gallon. It didn't last long but everyone was filling all kinds of gas cans up at that time.

Well, we better gas up now, who knows. . . . . .

Hope it is not the "calm before the storm"
