Peterson AFB Golf Course
The Silver Spruce is Peterson's built-in golf course. It sits between the flight line and the rest of the base. The course itself is designed to accomodate both the experienced golfer and the novice. While it has wide, open fairways, the doglegs and traps do offer a few challenges. And if you're new to Colorado, then adjusting your club selection will take a round or two itself (the ball really flies up here.)
The clubhouse offers several nice features that one might expect for a base with several stars (both former and present.) You'll find a very nice locker room, a good selection of golfing supplies and, of course, a grill offering food and drink.
