Before you consider a home here, I'd ask the sales office if you are allowed to put into the purchase agreement the fact you want to hire a house inspector to monitor construction and to do a final inspection on your behalf. Mattamy Homes has been known to build on land fertilized with human waste, to do illegal landfill (and apply for a pre-dated permit), sell homes without final authorization to build and to illegally (code) wire a furnace to a home next door and sell this home in an unethical manner, using the Town of Oakville inspector to pass this illegally (code) wired furnace.
