This is a great statement that summarizes my weekend! Basically if it could, it did... However I tried to put the craziness aside and enjoy myself.

I was over visiting some family in Palm Coast Florida when I found out we had plans to go and see Elvis,

Randy Elvis Fillipi that is. My in-laws are huge fans and have talked about seeing "Elvis" many times.

I am a fan of The King's music, but have never seen an impersonator. (Nor thought I would want to...)

Well I have to say that it was so much fun you cannot imagine! This is not something I would have ordinarily ever done and that made it even better! I did not realize how stressed out and tired I must have been until I spent an evening laughing and relaxed.

I am sharing this to let you know you too might need to take some time with the people you love and do something silly. Just turn off the news, step away from your desk, and have some FUN. I bet like me you need it more than you realize.

Oh, what fun! He really does look like Elvis! and those hips...mama mia! We had company over all weekend; my grandkids, my son and his family...went to the corn maze at Sherman's Farm, where the boys picked their own pumpkins. It was an absolutely stunning weekend too with the foliage and the mild temps in the 60's. Have I made you miss New England yet??????

Hi Rose Of course you have ... you always make me miss New England - accept for the ice :-) ... Sounds like a wonderful time. I heard from my friend Amy that she did something similar this weekend and she too had the AHHHHH affect, corn maze , apple picking, a lot of FUN. It was just what I needed and I got a scarf from Elvis oo la la - forgot my camera and tried with my cell phone but ended up just enjoying it and found Randy Elvis on You tube via another fan...thanks for teasing me with great weather, apples, &pumpkins ( I used to love picking my own)

Shannon, I'll bet it was fun! I saw an Elvis impersonator in Vegas once and it really tickled me. I could just imagine what it must have been like with the real thing! I'm glad you went.

Julie - it was quite funny and so good to laugh. I know great sideburns :-) Ellie - hard to believe it's been that long... Wow Greg - Thank you Thank you very much .... ahh I say swing them - gotta let loose once in a while :-) Ann - that is so cute and funny, now that IS a little Elvis LOL Don - glad you liked it - he did a good job. Another funny part is his Mom helps him with the show so he kept saying " Momma what do we have next , Momma" It really was fun and I love to laugh Gene - You made me laugh with your comment about the women liking it and your finding it ok.. my husband would probably tell you he felt the same Deb - It was fun and I think when I get to Vegas I would go and see one there ... I'm glad I went too and I'd go again :-)
