Saturday was certainly a pretty fall day. The Murph and I were out and about late in the afternoon, and with the fall foliage beginning to turn colors, I snapped some photos along the way. We were in the Powell, Dublin and Plain City areas, and although there are tons of homes in these suburbs, they are interspersed with natural areas.

The Murph got to see his first horses. For a change, he didn't bark at them. Guess he thought "those dogs were just TOO BIG to mess with". We went by a farm with a bunch of cows by the fence. Murph's nose was in overdrive as he got a whiff of fresh manure.

Tomorrow is supposed to be an equally pretty day. I recommend taking advantage of it by getting out to enjoy the scenery. It'll be gone too soon and it's a long time till March!

Hi Elaine! Beautiful pictures. I bet The Murph really enjoys seeing all the sights from the car window.

Jeff, don't ALL fall photos remind us of New England or northern New York? I think it's those calendars we've all seen.

Some smells good ... some smells not so good. At least we didn't go past any pig farms. ;-)

Lizette, The Murph loves (expects) to go for rides. He has an elevated doggie car seat that his harness hooks into (for safety) so he has a clear view of the world as we go by. Being a doxie, he barks at everything, but he was noticeably quiet when he saw the horses.

Gary, our colors weren't quite a pretty as in the past because of the lack of rain ... leaves turned brown too quickly. However, the temps were outstanding until this past weekend when it decided to become November!
