Weekend Fall Photo Tour of White Bear Lake, Minnesota--Colorful Beauty Everywhere!

Saturday was a perfect autumn day in Minnesota if you enjoy Mother Nature's eye candy! The fall colors were just starting to burst in White Bear Lake area. Around every corner there was another tree showing the signs of the crimson red, golden yellow, bittersweet orange or burgundy that was soon to appear. It was the perfect time to take a break from photographing interiors and exteriors that are so common in real estate and take some fun photos of the natural beauty unfolding in the Twin Cities.

Here are just a few of shots I took that showcase some of the beauty found on an autumn day in White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

Teri, I loved the photos and seeing the leaves change color. It IS a lovely time of year--I'm just not happy that it leads to winter!

Gorgeous photos, Fall is a beautiful time of the year. What is the temperature like there now?

William--Nice to hear from another WBL fan! White Bear Lake is a very beautiful community! And the lake is just one small part of that beauty!

Sandra--Thank you...I have always enjoyed photography...can you tell? :)

Lizette--It is a very picturesque bridge over to a private community of homes on Manitou Island.

Liz--I too love the bridge photos...my favorite is the one with the reflection of the bridge in the water. Thanks!!

Sally--It is a very beautiful time of year in MN...And soon everything will be white. (Hopefully not too soon...December works for me! )

Carole--I look at fall as a time of new beginnings...maybe from when I started school in the fall...maybe I consider Halloween the beginning of the fun whirlwind winddown to the end of the year. My kids love winter skiing so I can't complain about the snow anymore...they are excited for it! :)

Kris--I think it is the beautiful reflections...It is a very nice bridge....leading to some very expensive executive homes. At any rate, it is beautiful in the photos! Glad you enjoyed them.

Cynthia--Thanks...If you had asked that question about the temps Sunday or even yesterday, we would have been in the high 70's and a bit summer like but then a cold front moved in. This morning the start temp was around 40 degrees warming up to around 60 by this afternoon. Fall is here...Good sleeping weather and the ragweed will be gone for the season....yea! :)

Teri Such a lovely place with the leaves starting to turn, but I must ask. How do you keep track of all the lake names? :) Karen

Karen--Since I grew up in the northeast metro (St. Paul side) so I have a good number of the lakes figured out in Ramsey, Anoka, and Washington Counties, but not all. Thank goodness for Google Maps with the satelite view and the MN DNR lake finder for statistics on the lake quality as it would be difficult to keep track of them all!

Teri, your pictures are amazing! White Bear Lake is just down the road from my house, and my kids and I love to go there. When we are at the marina or beach it's like we're on vacation!

Kristina--I didn't realize you were in WBL. We are down there all the time as I office out of the KW on Cty Rd E. Our doctors, dentist and bank are also in the area. Plus I just like the drive down 61 better than 35. WBL is such a pretty place to live!
