Jo: Your staging really gives the buyer a sense of what the space has to offer. Good luck. I hope they sell quickly.

Fantastic color change Jo!  Your furniture selections compliment the contemporary space nicely.

Thanks for all of your comments.  We have found that the open floor plans of these spaces are fun to work with as we create separate living spaces...Cathy Lee the rug is from West Elm and we love it!

Jo- Very nice job! I've only done one contemporary, but I bid on another one yesterday. Love the chance to do something different. Were those built-in shelves fun or a nightmare?

Jo, great examples of your work. They look wonderful - keep it up, and keep posting!

Elaine, Thanks for the comment.  The bookshelves were truthfully fun to work with.  We always try to use a minimalist approach when there are that many shelves.  We have found that if they are well done the adage "less is more" will hold true.

Nicely done!  Those bookcases would have been the death of me!  That was a huge wall and that was a lot of shelves. I'd probably still be there arranging and rearranging...

Another stellar job Jo!

The amount of accessories you placed in the built in shelving is perfect. Not too many to overwhelm the eye. I think a lot of stagers feel the need to overfill bookshelves and cabinets with glass fronts.

Love your line "to tell the stories that sells homes".

Jackson, thaks so much for the comment.  Shelves are always challenging when they are a major feature in a room.  Jo

Jo - looks awesome! I like the colors you brought in and how you balanced the light and dark.

Those bookcases do look a bit overwhelming but  just right after staging.

Agreed.  The staging is pretty important because a big square space can make it hard to visualise the usage.

Jo,

Nice job....colortoned walls are very well chosen and bring the space down to scale.

I think color on the walls is critical.  It is tough to warm up a room with stark white walls!

Staging update...both of these wonderful properties SOLD!  The second set was a model and we moved this to a new unit for the developer.  Staged vacants definitely make a difference!

Congratulations Jo. I'm sure your staging did the trick. The builder was smart to call you.
