Deadlines for Higher Loan Limits on FHA & Convential Financing

Timeline:

2008 higher loan amounts (temporary) for FHA and Conventional loans will be expiring in December. Please read carefully below.

Summary:

Current FHA and Conventional Jumbo loan limits are set to expire near the end of 2008. While new 2009 Jumbo loan limits (FHA and Conventional) are in the works, they have not been defined yet.

Below are the funding date deadlines for the current FHA and Conventional Jumbo loan limits.

Key Points:

• Conventional FNMA Jumbo Fixed Rate and ARM Deadlines:

Loans must be funded by December 12th.

• FHA Fixed Rate Jumbo Deadlines:

Loans must be funded by December 31st.

• FHA 3/1 and 5/1 Jumbo Deadlines:

Loans must be funded by December 31st.
