I answered Richard privately, but in short here - both seller and Realtor pay for some aspects of the Staging depending on the type of house, the situation, and the budget needed.  Ultimately it is up to the seller to get their house ready for sale, but many savvy realtors include part (and sometimes all) of the Staging as a listing tool - and share in the investment to get the house Staged. - Jennie
