Turning the Bluegrass "GREEN"

Relationships and Resources are the key to my success. Coming from a larger city four years ago to Lexington Kentucky I quickly realized that "Family Name" meant recognition. Well, since I didn't have a local "Family Name" I had to improvise. So, I went to as many events as I could where I could meet people in my industry that could use my knowledge and work ethic. At one event I noticed that several Realtors did not have a name tag on. I inquired about this and was told that Realtors here feel as if you should recognize them by their face and place their name automatically. I thought this was clever! So, I did my homework and also became recognized after a hand full of events. Resources, resources, and more resources....isn't this the name of the lending game?. With things constantly changing in the lending area tapping into all of your resources and becoming a fountain of knowledge is key. Knowing how not to deliver so much information that your Realtors feel like they are becoming loan officers but staying sharp enough that they never have to question your ability. Another reason why I love this job is the endless opportunity to challenge yourself and always get results!
