"24" - Between 10PM and 11PM

Wow! Talk about a taking a wild ride on the Jack Bauer Roller Coaster of Lost Love!

Hold on! The season isn't even over yet, and already Jack's saved the world once again??? What's up with that???

Fayed gets captured and Grendenko does a little one-armed body surfing. Jack tries to beat the location of the suitcase nukes out of Fayed, but he's not talking. Can you believe it? Someone that Jack Bauer can't get to cough up the information? This show is losing it's credibility!

And then comes the Armored Car collision! Remember the clip from last week, showing Jack getting shot? We all knew he was wearing a vest, but did anyone predict it was all a ruse? How cool was that?

The Most Memorable Quote from this weeks episode: President Palmer saying, "If Jack Bauer says that's a dead end, then it's a dead end and I believe him!"

And what about Wayne Palmer, huh? Does that guy have some big Kahunas or what? Do you all remember the list of options from my comments to Donna's recap last week?

2. The nuke isn't armed, and he's only trying to pressure the foreign country president.

Didn't I call that one? Am I good, or what?

But who could fortell what happened next?

Fayed finally meets Allah, courtesy of a Jack Bauer Choker Chain. The suitcase nukes are recovered, the world is safe once more. All is well, everyone goes home happy, right? Well, maybe on some other TV drama, but hey, this is frickin' "24!"

No sooner does Doyle show up with belated reinforcements, than Jack gets a call. It's Audrey Raines! You know, the "I followed Jack to China" Audrey. The "I got killed trying to save Jack" Audrey! Faster than you can say Kung Pao Chicken, Jack is sucked back once again into the web of Cheng Zhi.

But I guess that makes sense. Whenever you get kidnapped by the Chinese, even though you get released, 30 minutes later you still feel like you're kidnapped!

I love it Rich, I don't even have to watch...just catch your recap.

I knew that it seemed too short and sweet, about Audrey's "death". I just didn't see it coming so soon. I thought it would be something he stumbled on later. So I guess the rest of this season will be him trying to rescue Audrey, since the whole bomb situation seems to be handled now.

I have been hooked on this show since the very beginning.

Rich,

One arnmed body surfing... That's good! I expected the Audrey card to come up at some point... Heck, they'll have DAvid palmer in a dream sequence when the well runs dry! But for now, this show is timely, topical, and fun to watch!

Did you foresee Charles Logan getting knifed? BY Mrs. Logan? That was almost a shark-jump... Almost!

It seems anti-climatic to me.  The nuke storyline can't be over and just switch over to Audrey.  I'm sure there is still more to come with the nukes and Doyle will take over while Jack flys off to save Audrey.

Ravi - the previews for next week seemed to indicate that the Chinese were going to hold Audrey hostage in exchange for some 'package.' Perhaps the 'package' will be one of the suitcase nukes? I agree, I see Doyle taking on a larger role at some point. He's an enigma. You want to trust him, but he scares ya.

Hi Rich. glad to see you back posting. Back when they showed the dead Audrey I mentioned she wasn't dead. When they don't show the whole body then you know they are leaving the door open for a comeback.

The crash really threw me. Never expected it but I think Jeff Belonger mentioned he figured it to happen.

On next weeks preview it looks like Jack goes rogue and will go against all that is good to save Audrey and I predict Doyle will be the one that will have to bring him in.

Didn't you love the line where Jack says to Pres. Palmer "You Owe Me". Another classic Jack line.

It sure was refreshing this week. I think the Chinese want the nukes in exchange for Audrey and Jack will swap them and Doyle will try and stop him. What do you think?

I don't know, something about the Chinese swapping Audrey for suitcase nukes just doesn't work for me... they want something else.  Jack, perhaps?  I mean, Audrey is about the only thing Jack will go stupid over, right?  And the Chinese have lost face more than once because of him... I think we've got "it's personal" going on here.

Can they really swap out of Islamoterrorists and do the Chinese thing again?  I don't know.  They do have a few more weeks to fill ;-)

That doesn't make sense that the Chinese can come back for Jack when they did a fair swap earlier.  And how did the Chinese know Jack was even still alive?

I guess Audrey shot her stuff before her new show started shooting.  I also knew she wasn't dead since there was no body, however, I second guessed myself when I saw the new show...
