For those of you that have not read Rich Jacobson's post on "Taking Advantage of a Good Thing" - AR Community Guidelines Re-Visited you may want to dive in and learn.
****The last part of our guidelines was stated in Rich's post:
"Do not attempt to selfishly manipulate search engine results through blackhat SEO techniques, such as Keyword Stuffing, or by posting endless copied sections of your local MLS. Violation of this guideline may result in an immediate termination of your ActiveRain account/profile."
We as Real Estate Industry Professionals respect each other & work as a team....so why is it so hard to follow the Community Guidelines here on ActiveRain?
Even better, read the ActiveRain Community Guidelines while you're at it.
****For those of you that believe ActiveRain and Localism are places to post your third party statistics you are WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. ******For those of you that believe everyone wants to see YOUR copied and pasted listings straight from the MLS or Information System you are WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.******For those of you who use photos, other peoples listings, poems, stories that are not yours you are WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. It's stealing. If you do not have permission from the source ...it's STEALING. No matter if you are giving credit to the source....if you do not have permission...you're stealing.
Maybe you just don't know any better. Maybe you didn't see that there are guidelines. Maybe you're new and need guidance. Or...you could be just being selfish and manipulating our networks for your own agenda. If we can see that...don't you think the consumer can see it too?
If you need some wonderful Localism Guidance .....Rich has dedicated much of his time to create posts to help everyone in our community so we can make Localism a valued network with QUALITY content about our local areas.
