Advertising is something I believe you can never have or do too much of. I currently use so many different strategies, It's hard to keep track of everything I'm paying for. I decided last month to have my administrative asst. keep track of all the calls that came in based on where they were referred from. Here's what she showed me.
The Real Estate Book (The actual Book) - Created 22 Calls - 2 of which resulted in an agreement.
The Real Estate Book. Com - Created 0 calls.
The Mercury ( My Local Newspaper ) - Resulted in 62 Calls - 1 of which resulted in an agreement, and 5 new listings.
Harmon Homes - Resulted in 3 calls. 1 showing - no results.
adnet.homes. com (Harmon Homes Website) - 0 Calls - No Results
My FeaturedBlog - Resulted in 12 Calls - 4 showings and it's looking like an agreement.
My Signs in Sellers Yards ( Drive By's) - Created 4 Calls - 4 Showings.
Craigslist - Resulted in 2 Calls - No Showings - No results
Glen Russell . Com - Created 6 Calls - 5 Showings & 1 agreement.
Real Estate Today - Created 1 Call, 1 showing, and 1 agreement
R-Bid . com - Resulted in 0 Calls - No Results
KW . Com ( Keller Williams Website ) - Resulted in 2 Calls - 1 Showing
There is obviously some of these that could be done away with. You would think in this day in age, the website marketing would be booming, but in all reality - I get the most results through newpaper and real estate magazines. Maybe consumers feels more comfortable with what they know and are used to. All in all it was a good way to see where my business was coming from, and I will be making some changes.
If anyone has any ideas on where I should START advertising, or where I should STOP. Please let me know what you think.
