Hey Kay long time no see...I just a guy over to your blog today..he was an SEO newbie (like I am some sort of expert :) :)

In this state of the market, any idea of anything paid makes you shrudder. Of course, if was strange for me to read it, as it was liek a no-no.

Interesting post. It beats the magazine ads.

You caught my eye on this , and yes I did click and read. Thanks for your perspective.

It depends on the page rank and link type. I have never paid for links and been page one on goggle, yahoo all our websites life. I refuse to even pay for yahoo indexing which I see as a mistake but it annoys me to no end.

Food for thought. If is is a service that charges you for a link, google might know about it and not count any ranking towards it. If it is under the radar then it can work.

Where have I been? I've never even heard of paid links! Very fascinating and it just may be the answer to some things that have puzzled me. How can I learn more?

Very timely post Kay… my SEO advisor is just starting to buy us some back links. Says we needed to give our website a boost up.. we’ll see I’ve always been against it but will keep an open mind and watch for a few months.

Great post, Kay -- I use Google AdWords, social networking sites, etc, but I am not sure where you would even go to buy links... and once you find them, how to you know if they will work for your site.

Interesting post. I use AdWords and to my goodle analytics it is working but I personally think that it is just a waste of money.

i have kicked this around myself and am not sure what to do...

I'm still very new to SEO and didn't even know there were paid links out there. I should also add that I'm a rebel and not afraid to try something taboo:-)

Do you consider joining different real estate or home construction network sites, paid links? What's your opinion on this? Thank you.
