Danbury, CT 4th Annual "Clean City Danbury Day"

Saturday, April 21, 2007, will be Danbury, Connecticut's 4th Annual Clean City Danbury Day.

Mark Boughton, Danbury's Mayor, expects 1,000 volunteers to assist him with an old-fashioned neighborhood clean-up. 

The city of Danbury will provide volunteers with trash bags, gloves and safety vests. The city will provide six dumpster locations that will also be available for residents to dispose of any bulk trash free of charge.

Volunteers can register by calling Mayor Boughton's office at 203.797.4511.

The following dumpster locations will be available on this date from 8am - 1pm for town residents and homeowners:

1. Rogers Park - at the tennis courts
2. Mill Ridge Intermediate School
3. Old Dump
4. Mill Plain Green
5. City Hall
6. P.A.L. Building
