Club Chaos Eye Candy: Shea Stadium and Citi Field

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Tann Starr & Associates, Inc.

Citi Field and Shea Stadium have a statistical comparison chart that you can read here at the New York Mets official website. Citi Field is due to open in April of 2009 and I am very excited about that because we are going to bring the boys to a family day event. How would you like to see a time lapse video recording of the construction over a period of months? It's a very cool little video but a bit slow so please have some patience while you are waiting for it to load. You can watch the video clip here.

Here is a little eye candy from my turtle run this morning. It was fun hanging out with the hard hats. I'll be back next month to update you on their progress with more photographs. Enjoy!

Wow, that is a cool field.  I wonder if that is why Citi cancelled the credit card that I hadn't used in years? So weird that both a friend and I got a cancellation due to "inactivity".  My husband said it is because of the credit crunch but I really think it is because they are spending all the money on this new field! :o)

C, Looks like a cool place. I used to take my rug rats out to see football, baseball, and soccer games when they were younger. Great that you are looking forward towards family day at the new stadium...

Morning C,

Thanks for posting the pictures and related information. CitiField is coming along with good speed. Looks like most of the work will be finished before winter sets in.

C - I know that you have been told this a million times but you really take some kick a$$ pics.  You capture quite a bit and I ALWAYS enjoy your Eye Candy!

You are very welcome, Gary.

Cristal, that totally whomps. You should be able to use the card when you want to and not have it canceled because they do not want to pay the expense of monitoring an inactive account. I kept telling my husband to go to Sears and buy a pair of socks or something, but he didn't use his card so they closed it for inactivity as well.

Yes, Laura, it certainly is. There will be a lot of shops inside as well.

I am going to miss Shea.  Growing up in NYC we used to go there all the time.  At least we still have the 7 train to get us there and back.

Jeremy, I'm so used to them fluctuating with their winning and losing I just like watching them all play. It makes my friends a little crazy that I like the Mets and the Yankees. When they play against each other I'm rooting for both sides (LOL).

You know you can buy the stadium seats as souvenirs.  I have a friend who bought two and is putting them in his basement.  Now that is a serious Met fan.
